About the Doctor

"Dr. Mark", as he’s known by our patients and staff, was born in Johnson City, raised in Vestal, and obtained his BS in Bio-Chemistry at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He earned his dental degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and returned to Binghamton to practice dentistry for one full year.

Dr. Mark then completed three additional programs at the prestigious Eastman Dental Center- University of Rochester:

• Orthodontic Residency
• Tempormandibular Joint Fellowship
• Advanced Education in General Dentistry

Since graduation, he has remained affiliated with the Eastman Dental Center as an Associate Clinical and Research Instructor. Additionally, he is a Clinical Instructor at the BCC School of Hygiene.

Dr. Mark is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and serves on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Care Team at UHS Hospitals in Binghamton, New York. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Sixth District Dental Society of the State of New York (current peer review orthodontist and by-laws chairman), and Broome County Dental Society (President 2007).

Dr. Mark and his wife Jennifer have four daughters and one son. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and skiing.
